Drink: Liquor - Gin plus Yakult (Ginyak)

This is not to promote liquor drinking and neither to encourage it. This is only posted particularly for those who drink liquor while reminding them to drink moderately.

Ingredients:

- 1 2x2 bottle of Ginebra San Miguel
- 1 80 ml Yakult

Procedure:

1. Lessen the content of the gin bottle with amount the same as the Yakult.
2. Pour Yakult into the 2x2 bottle of gin.
3. Mix and that's it- a ginyak.
4. For the 4x4 GSM bottle, you may add three 80 ml Yakult for lighter version of ginyak.

Organic Food: Vegetable Salad - Tomato, Onion and Cucumber

 In the Philippines, Holidays Season and other gatherings/occasions are being ladened with many foods high in cholesterol. Salads like this one should be prepared for those who are taking care of their health and/or to at least serve as control food for too much intake of high-risk foods.

Ingredients:

- tomato, onion and cucumber
- either salt, soy sauce, fish sauce or honey
- other appropriate seasoning (optional)

Materials:

- bowl to contain chopped vegetables
- stirring spoon
- knife
- chopping board

Procedure:

1. The quantity of tomato and cucumber should be equal, and the amount of onion should be 25% of the combined amount of tomato and cucumber.
2. Chop the cucumber into small pieces and put into the bowl, do the same with the tomato and then followed by the onion.
3. Mix them well.
4. Put the salt or soy sauce or fish sauce or honey unto the mixture.
5. Put optional ingredients.
6. mix them again thoroughly.

It can be eaten with rice during mealtime, but it can also be eaten in plainly.

Food: Soup - Instant Mami Noodles Soup + Leeks

Ingredients:

- 1 pack of instant mami noodles (a lot of this is available in the Philippines, choose the one with less artifical and toxic additives)
- 1 cup of leeks

Materials:

- cooking container
- water (amount depends on the instruction written on the noodles' pack)
- stirring ladle
- knife
- cup for the leeks
- bowl for the soup
- chopping board

Procedure:

1. Boil the water in the ccoking container.
2. When the water boils, put the noodles into the container
3. The noodles will be softened in an instant, add the leeks.
4. Read and follow the instructions on how many minutes to boil the noodles and when to add seasoning.
5. When cooked, pour it on the cup/s for serving

It can be added to the dishes during meal time or eaten alone during snack time.

Organic Food: Vegetable Sauté - Bell Pepper

Bell Pepper in many articles is being hailed because of its many health benefits including the ability to remove face wrinkles. You may Google to find these articles for yourselves..

Ingredients:

- bell peppers
- vegetable oil
- salt (amount according to your preference)
- other seasoning (if available)

Materials:

- bowl to contain sliced bell pepper
- small bowl
- frying pan
- stirring flat ladle
- knife
- chopping board

Procedure:

1. Cut a bell pepper in halves and clean the seeds and the core.
2. Cut the halves in thin slices and put into the bowl container.

3. Do 1 & 2 for the other Bell Peppers.
4. Pour vegetable oil into the frying pan and heat it.
5. Put the sliced Bell Pepper into the frying pan and stir.

6. When the Bell Pepper is cooked, sprinkle the salt (and other seasoning) and stir well for 10 minutes.

This sauté can be eaten with rice during mealtime.

Organic Food: Vegetable Sauté - Cabbage Shoots (Saringit)

Cabbage after reaping may grow shoots that are very edible as well. It can be foraged for an ingredient of a dish or a main part of a food preparation.

Ingredients:

- cabbage shoots
- diced garlic
- vegetable oil
- salt (amount according to your preference)
- other seasoning (if available)

Materials:

- bowl to contain the young cabbage leaves
- frying pan
- stirring flat ladle
- knife
- chopping board
- small bowl

Procedure:

1. Remove young leaves from stem and put them on a bowl.
2. Heat the oil on the frying pan.

3. Pour the diced garlic, stir it until they become brown.

4. Put the leaves and stir.
5. When the leaves are cooked, sprinkle the salt (and the other seasoning)
6. Stir for 15 seconds and put aside for serving.

Organic Food: Vegetable Salad - Tomato, Ampalaya (Bitter gourd) and Egg Salad

This may be eaten with one cup of rice. It may also increase dopamine level thus it may be advisable that when eating it as dinner, a snack of serotonin-rich foods must be done before attempting to go to sleep.

Materials and Ingredients:

For one serving, use

(Note: The amount of the major ingredients should be equal.)

- 1 medium size bitter gourd (ampalaya)
- 2 big size tomatoes
- 2 medium size eggs
- 1 bowl
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- spoon
- knife
- chopping board

Procedure: 

1. Cut the ampalaya into 8 pieces lengthwise, dice all and put in to the bowl.
2. Do the same with. the tomatoes and then the eggs.
3. Sprinkle the salt over the bowl of ingredients.
4. Mix ingredients with the spoon.
5. Consume it with rice.

Food: Sauce - Vinegar Pepper Sauce (QHMix Recipe)

Ingredients and Materials:

- 70 ml cup of green and red Siling Labuyo (Wild Chili Pepper/Philippine Pepper)
- 200 ml Vinegar/Cider
- 1 Garlic head (preferably the Philippine native garlic)
- 1 red Onion (standard size)
- 2 Calamansi or 2 thin slices of lemon

- Clean bottle glass container with cap (320 ml or more)
- Knife
- Chopping board

Procedure:

1. Break the garlic head into cloves, peel, crush and then put them inside the glass container.
2. Slice and cut the onion into pieces just like the size of the peppers and put them into the container.
3. Slice the calamansi fruits into two (or the slices of lemon), add them to the mixture.
3. Put all the peppers into the container also.
4. Pour the vinegar over the ingredients, seal with cap and shake a little.
5. Store your hot and nice pepper sauce for a while before consuming it.
